Starting with a short vineyard tour at 7pm for those who have not yet done a formal visit to the vineyard and would like to. In the vineyard we will look at the different trellising systems and discuss the effect they have on grape production. For those not wishing to do the vineyard tour the evening will start at 7.30pm in the Winery Restaurant with talk on the history of English wines, grape varieties, production methods and current trends This will be followed by a tasting and discussion of 5 of the 2010 vintage of Highdown Wines and finally a 3 course dinner of seasonal Sussex foods prepared by our fine dining chef Annmarie Hall. £35 per person.

As a specialist British Restaurant Roast have English Wine available by the glass all year round.
For English Wine Week they are offering a special food and wine pairing each day with certain English wines not usually available by the glass so that diners can get a feel for what English Wine is all about. Each wine will be paired with a dish prepared specially by their chefs from 'home-grown' ingredients.
